Amy and family, sorry to hear this.  He certainly has left each of you with some precious memories and I trust as days pass that these will bring comfort as you are recalling them one by one.  May God's comforting arms surround you all and provide the peace in the troubling moments you face ahead.

Yvonne,

Patricia forwarded me Richard’s obituary.  Such sad, sad news to get—my heart goes out to you and your kids and grands.  The first thing I think of when I think of Richard is that fantastic smile he had!  I always thought the world of him and appreciated all he (and you) did to help me through the years.  He sure could fix or make anything, couldn’t he???  I honestly was just thinking of him about two weeks ago.  The tile in my little apartment bathroom has seen better days, and I was thinking to myself that if Richard Clark were in Washington, DC, he could have some bright new tile laid like a pro in no time!

It was nice to read about his military service—he did his part to make this world a better place.  You two were so close, so I can only imagine how much you will miss him.

I just sent the write-up to Mom.  She, too, always like Richard and will be sad to hear.  We’ll both be sending prayers to you.  Send my regards to Amy and Angela, and tell that Hillary hello. I bet she’s all grown!  Hard to imagine.

Wendy
