Mr. Jack Spell, Sr., age 81, of Alamo died Wednesday, March 30, 2016, at his residence after a brief illness.
Mr. Spell was a native of Lyons, living most of his life in Butler, Georgia, and residing in Wheeler County for the past year and a half. He was a retired construction worker and a member of Turners Chapel Free Will Baptist Church.
Mr. Spell is survived by two sons, Tommy Spell and wife Lisa of Alamo, and Jack Spell, Jr., and wife Lea of Butler; one daughter, Saundra Sightler and husband William of Eatonton; thirteen grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren,; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services for Mr. Jack Spell, Sr., will be held Friday, April 1, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Stewart-Rosier Funeral Service Vidalia Chapel with Reverend Don Gibbs and grandson Keegan Spell officiating. Interment will follow at Harden’s Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening at the funeral home from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
