Mr. Wayne P. Stacks, age 60, of Glenwood, died Friday morning March 27, 2015, at Meadows Regional Medical Center after an extended illness.
He was a native and lifelong resident of Georgia, moving to Wheeler County in 1986. He was a retired laborer and a member of the Bethel Baptist Church.
Mr. Wayne is survived by his wife Tanna Stacks of Glenwood, Georgia; two sons Jason Gamaza and Jeremy Gamaza both of Twin City, Georgia; one daughter Lacey Stacks of Vidalia, Georgia; two sisters Louise Edge and Linda Batay both of Vidalia, Georgia; and one grandson.
Funeral services for Mr. Wayne P. Stacks will be held Monday, March 30, 2015, at 1:30 PM at Bethel Baptist Church with Reverend B.L. Horne and Reverend Bob Corley officiating. Interment will follow in Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday evening from 6-8 PM.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to Gideon’s International (1972 Old Jesup Road Brunswick, Georgia 31525) or American Cancer Society (3011 Hampton Avenue #361 Brunswick, Georgia 31520).

Tanya so sorry for your lost you and your family are in my prayer. Had gotten closer to you and Wayne since you had been coming to Bethel he will be missed.Love Faye

Tanna and Family. I am truly sorry for the loss of Wayne. I know it has been a long time I got go to Georiga. I loved Wayne like a Brother and his sisters as a sister. I love you too. I am sorry that I didn't get see his sons, but maybe the future. I love Lacy too. Wish we all had live closer. If I can help in any way, I will do it. I would like to be there, but I live to far away, I live in Texas now.
