Mr. Kenny Smith, age 55, of Lyons died Monday afternoon, June 3, 2013 at Meadows Regional Medical Center of Vidalia after a brief illness.
Mr. Smith was a native and lifelong resident of Florida, moving to Lyons three years ago. He was a tool and die expert and a professional musician. He was a member of the Moose Lodge and was Baptist by faith.
Mr. Smith is survived by four sons, Kenny Smith Jr. of St Augustine, Scotty Smith of Lyons, Wesley Smith of Alachua FL and Jessie Smith of Palatka FL; two daughters, Mindy Smith of Reidsville and Mandy Gray of Lyons; his mother, Lois Smith of St. Augustine; his sister Charlene Danley of Gainesville FL; and six grandchildren.
A memorial service for Mr. Kenny Smith will be held Thursday, June 6, 2013 at 5:00 PM at Oasis Church of God with Reverend Gilbert Wommack officiating. The family will receive friends at the Church beginning at 3:00 PM.
