Glenwood

Mrs. Agnes Arlene Connell, age 70 of 142 Dallas Rd,Glenwood, died Wednesday morning October 10, 2012 at the Lower Oconee Community Hospital in Glenwood after an extended illness. 

Mrs. Connell was a native of Bacon County, lived for some years in Treutlen County and most of her life in Wheeler County.  She is a retired seamstress and homemaker.  She was a member of the Snow Hill Community Church near Glenwood and the Thursday night Ladies prayer group.

She is preceded in death by one son, Timothy Connell in 1986.  Survivors include her husband Reverend W.R. Connell of Glenwood; seven sons, Reuben Connell, Kevin Connell, Prentice Connell, Eugene Connell, Edison Connell, all of Glenwood, Anthony Connell of Wrightsville and Ladon Connell of Ailey; one daughter, Venessila Massey of Alamo; two brothers. Larry Jackson of Soperton and Mickey Jackson of Dublin; six sisters, Martha Poole of Glenwood, Beverly Smith of Glenwood, Trellis Manning of Palm Bay FL, Elizabeth Hester of Vidalia, Pam Jackson of Lyons and Tracy Rogers of Mount Vernon.  31 grandchildren and 15 great children also survive.

Funeral Services for Agnes Arlene Connell will be held Friday October 12 at 2:00 PM at the Snow Hill Community Church near Glenwood with Reverend John Wayne Owens and Reverend Larry Gooden officiating.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends beginning at 6:00 PM Thursday evening at the funeral home.

Bro.Connell & family.,

Life brings Blessings to each of Us in very unique & special ways, I count having known Ms Agenes on eof those Blessings.

May our Lord & Savior be your constant companion during this time of grief and loss and the knowledge that you are loved be a reminder of the lives your family has touched in service to His calling.

May the Peace which surpasseth all undertanding fill your hours in the days to come.
