Jackie Dees Foskey, age, 86 of 723 Julie Drive in Vidalia died Sunday afternoon at Community Hospice in Vidalia after an extended illness.
Jackie was a lifelong resident of Toombs County. She was a retired office manager and a member of the Vidalia First Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband Kendall Foskey in 1997, her son Joey Foskey in 1978 and her daughter Linda Thompson in 1984.
Jackie Dees Foskey is survived by: three brothers, Aubrey Dees of Cedar Crossing, Johnny Dees of Baxley and Jerry Dees of Cedar Crossing; four sisters, Marion Dixon of Vidalia, Joann Peterson of Vidalia, Johnnie M. Dees of Cedar Crossing and Becky Vaughn of Vidalia; one grandson, Matthew Foskey of Vidalia and one granddaughter Jody Todd of Vidalia. Three great-grandsons and one great granddaughter also survive.
A graveside Funeral service for Jackie Dees Foskey will be held Tuesday September 25, 2012 beginning at 11:00 at the Lakeview Memorial Garden Cemetery with Reverend Reece Mincey officiating. The family will receive friends at the Ronnie L. Stewart Funeral Service Chapel in Vidalia beginning at 6PM Monday evening September 24, 2012.
Ronnie L. Stewart Funeral Service of Vidalia will be in charge of the arrangements.
