Mrs. Rachel Taylor McDilda, age 66, of Lyons, died early Saturday morning, September 5, 2020 at Community Hospice of Vidalia after a brief illness. Rachel was a native of Wheeler County having lived in Lyons the past 1o years. She was a homemaker and Baptist by Faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Richard McDilda.

She is survived by one son, Ray Warren of Lyons; three daughters, Amanda Williams (Dennis) of Raeford, N.C., Jessica Humphrey of Lyons, and Michelle Myers (Nathaniel) of Pooler; one brother, Daniel Taylor of McRae; and one sister, Ruby Spires of Alamo. Eight grandchildren, T.J., Jesslyn, Brandon, Jacob, Austin, Xavier, Tyler, and Bentley also survive.

The family will receive friends for visitation at the funeral home Friday afternoon, September 11, 2020 from 5:00 pm until 6:00 pm.
