Mrs. Sarah Lancaster, age 84, A native of Mt Vernon, lived many years in Ft Lauderdale FL, and then returning to Mt Vernon in 1992 where she remained for the rest of her time.  Sarah went home to be with our Lord and Savior peacefully Monday morning in her home after an extended illness. Sarah was an administrative assistant in the banking industry and was a Baptist by faith.

Sarah is preceded in death by her husband Norman W. Lancaster in 1998.

Sarah is survived by two sons, Scott W. Lancaster of Jacksonville FL, Steve G. Lancaster of West Palm Beach FL one sister, Peggy Julian of Tampa FL,

Two grandchildren Savanna Lancaster, Samantha Lancaster, and one great grandchild Ava Acevedo.

There will be no services or visitation held here.

Entombment will be held in Ft. Lauderdale FL where she will be laid to rest with her late husband Norman.

Ronnie L. Stewart Funeral Service Vidalia is in charge of final arrangements.
