Ms. Doris C. Hinson, age 100 of Vidalia, died April 1, 2018 at Community Hospice of Vidalia after a brief illness. Ms. Doris is a native of Vermont, living in Vidalia since 1989. She retired from the garment industry and was a member of Church of Christ of Vidalia.

She is preceded in death by her two husbands, Walter Hair and Claude Hinson; three children, Walter Hair, Winnie Oxford, and Betty Asselin; and three siblings, Edith Despault, Louis Desmarais, and Norman Currier.

Doris is survived by her daughter, Joanie (Mike) Conn of Contoocook, NH; two sons, Edson (Belinda) Hair of Woodland Park, CO, and Lewis Hair of CA; one brother, George (Emma) Desmarais of Eden Vermont; and her sister, Polly Hill of Elmore VT. Twelve grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews also survive.

Memorial services for Ms. Doris C. Hinson will be held Saturday, April 7 2018 at Stewart-Rosier Funeral Service at 2:00 PM with Reverend Robbie Rosier officiating. The family will receive friends for fellowship and refreshments following the service. Interment will follow at a later date in Woodstock, NH.
