Mr. Fred Allen Skipper, age 52, of Lyons died Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at Meadows Regional Medical Center of Vidalia after an extended illness.

Mr. Skipper was a native of Orlando FL and had resided in Lyons for the past nine years.  He was a commercial truck driver and Pentecostal by Faith.

He is survived by his spouse Sherry Skipper of Lyons; two sons, Justin Allen Skipper of Lyons and Adam Leon Skipper of Lyons; and two sisters, Betty McCall of Tennessee and Beth Traywick and her husband Sammy of Lake County FL.

Graveside Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Edge Memorial Cemetery in Glenwood.  The family will receive friends at Stewart- Rosier Funeral Service Vidalia Chapel on Tuesday from
9:30 am – 10:30 am.
