Miss Crystal “Christy” Seagle, age 60 of 711 Winona St, Vidalia died early Saturday morning November 17, 2012 at Community Hospice in Vidalia after a brief illness. 

Miss Seagle was a native of Virginia, lived for many years in California and had resided in Vidalia for the past 15 years.  For much of her life she worked as a Secretary in Accounting Businesses.  She was a Veteran of the United States Army.  Christy had a passion for reading and writing and was recently pursuing her dreams as she was enrolled at Brewton Parker College, where she was working towards a degree in Creative Writing.  She was a long time member of Calvary Baptist Church.

Miss Seagle is preceded in death by her father, Robert Seagle Sr. in 1987.

She is survived by her mother, Alice Seagle of Vidalia; two brothers, Robert Seagle of Vidalia and Allen Seagle of Louisiana; one niece, Lynn Marie Coleman of Louisiana and three nephews, John Michael Seagle of Savannah, Tony Seagle of Valdosta and William Seagle of Maryland.

Memorial Services for Miss Crystal “Christy” Seagle will be held on Sunday, November 18, 2012 at 3:00 PM from the Chapel of the Ronnie L. Stewart Funeral Service in Vidalia with Reverend Efton Green officiating.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 2pm until service time.
