Mrs. Patty Sue Haynes, age 55, of Cedar Crossing died Sunday, September 18, 2016, at Community Hospice of Vidalia after an extended illness. Mrs. Haynes was a native of Telfair County, living most of her life in Cedar Crossing. She was a retired salesperson with Lady Renee and attended Cedar Crossing Church of God.
Patty is preceded in death by her husband, Byron Lee Haynes (2006).
Patty is survived by her three daughters, Jessica Haynes Heath (Derek) of Vidalia, Valerie Carlo (Joshua) of Vidalia, and Paulette Bowman of Lyons; two sons, Anthony Haynes (Patricia) of Vidalia, and Scottie Haynes of Cedar Crossing; three brothers, Donald Farmer (Francia) of Tallahassee, Florida, Glen Farmer (Beverely) of Uvalda, and Edison Farmer of Hazlehurst; two sisters, Diane Cathey of Lauren, South Carolina, and Shirley Crews of Raleigh, North Carolina; and two special friends, Voncille Samples of Cedar Crossing, and Freda Toole of Statesboro. Several grandchildren and great-grandchildren also survive.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Patty Sue Haynes will be held at Stewart-Rosier Funeral Service Vidalia Chapel on September 20, 2016 at 1:00 PM with Reverend Bobby Toole, Reverend Anthony Haynes, and Jim Carr officiating. Interment will follow at Cedar Crossing Church of God Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Stewart-Rosier Funeral Service on Monday evening, September 19, 2016, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
Stewart-Rosier Funeral Service Vidalia Chapel is in charge of funeral arrangements.

We are so sorry for your loss of Patty Sue. She was my cousin. She was such a inspiration and caring person. We love and will miss her. Patty Sue is dancing on the streets of gold and in a brand new body that is free of diseases and pain. That we can be thankful for. Love everyone of y'all.
