Mrs. Maria Ana De La Cruz, age 84, of Mexico died Monday evening, April 7, 2014 at Community Hospice of Vidalia after an extended illness.
Mrs. De La Cruz was a native of Mexico and resided in Uvalda at the time of her death. She was a homemaker and Catholic by Faith.
Maria is preceded in death by her parents, two sons, her daughter and her grandson.
Mrs. De La Cruz is survived by five sons, Abraham, Amador, Adauto, Aquileo and Adan; two daughters, Aida and Maria Delores Montes and her husband Marco; fifteen grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
The Funeral Mass for Mrs. Maria Ana De La Cruz will be scheduled at a later date in Mexico.
Stewart-Rosier Funeral Service of Vidalia is in charge of local funeral arrangements.
